There is a lot of talk about the microbiome these days. And for good reason! The microbiome is responsible for a huge range of important functions in our bodies. But what if you want to change your microbiome? How long does it take?
It really depends on how drastic the changes you want to make are, and how willing you are to stick to a probiotic regimen or other dietary changes. Generally speaking, though, it can take anywhere from two to six weeks for noticeable changes in the gut flora.
That said, don't get discouraged if you don't see results immediately. Just keep at it and you'll start to notice a difference soon enough. And remember, there's no one "right" way to change your microbiome – so find what works best for you and go with that!
