Brain fog is a subjective feeling of mental confusion and lack of focus. While the underlying cause of brain fog is not fully understood, there are many things that can help you overcome it.
1. Get Enough Sleep
One of the most important things you can do to fight brain fog is to make sure you get enough sleep. Most adults need around 7-8 hours of sleep each night. When you’re chronically sleep-deprived, your cognitive function diminishes, which can lead to brain fog.
2. Drink Enough Water
Dehydration can also cause brain fog. Make sure you drink plenty of water each day to keep your mind clear and focused.
3. Avoid Stimulants
Caffeine, nicotine and other stimulants can aggravate brain fog symptoms. If you find that caffeine makes your brain fog worse, try reducing your intake or avoiding it altogether.
